In one of my articles, I recommend that you avoid free business cards (printing) for business purposes because of the low quality. For the same reason, I recommend that you look to professional design for your business card.

YES ... you could use a professional template as provided by a company you work with, or one offered by a printing company. These are professional designs. I just mean you want to AVOID designing your own card unless you're truly talented in doing so.

Often we think we can't afford professional help, but there are two issues with this: 1) a bad design could easily cost you more than a professional design, because a low-quality card can drive away business; and 2) professional design does NOT have to cost a lot. And I'll show you here how you can get it for FREE.

I have traditionally charged $75 to design a one-sided card and $125 for a two-sided card. (Unlimited revisions; cost of images included; more than just lines of text.) This is in line with most designers. But today, you don't have to pay anywhere near that.

If you sign up with ViralPrint for free, they offer low rates on both printing and design. One-sided design is just $29 and two-sided is just $49. Get 1000 double-sided, 16-point, glossy cards for just $36 delivered on top of the design costs. Hey, you're not going to beat this combined total.
